Vienna Pics, Finally!

Here are the pictures from Vienna! My friend from college, Amy (from Chicago) went to visit my old friend, Shane, whom I've known since elementary school and was my first dance partner. Here are some pics of Vienna in November. It was wonderful! It's a must see town.

Your pics need labels. Isn't Vienna Motzart's home town.

Are you back Switzerland? How's the snow?

For those of you who don't know, Shane dances for the Vienna Opera & Ballet Company. The stage shot is from one of his perfomances. Lydia and Shane went to Montessori together.

Nah, David, you are supposed to print off a copy of the photos to take with you when you take that European trip and play "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego" as you put the right picture with the matching landmark!
Some of those photos must be of the Vienna Opera & Ballet Company, I deduce. And wow, your friend Shane must be quite a dancer to be performing with the Company there, Lydia. Jan

Hell, They got Flyin' baby sculptures, right there in that park street center picture, man I'm there. I got my plane ticket and I'm ready to go. Ain't nothin' so classy as flyin' baby sculptures.

My favorite pic is the one with the uber large mug of coffee.

That is a huge starbucks mug. Also the theater looks awesome.

Yeah. What I like about Europe is that they expect you to stay and drink your beverage. Doesn't waste as much paper and the mugs are giant and awesome. That's a venti if you didn't guess by now....

By the way, that theater is the "smaller" one. The one where we saw Shane dance Onegin the first night was 4 tiered. Ginormous.

Shane looks like he's over well over 6' tall. Are most male dancers that tall? Particularily ballet He does ballet, or no?

Have you had any chance to practice?

I believe Shane is about 6'2''. He's the tallest dancer in the company. All we did in Vienna was dance to a swing song at a bar, but no practicing of Ballroom.
