What about the new girl? A mix of the modern and traditional.
The modern: a 20 speed Shimano compact drivetrain. (10 cogs at the rear! Shift by just twitching the brake levers!)
The traditional: Steel tubes, Mavic rims, Continental tires, with a paint job straight from the '50s.
And its a Schwinn, sadly now bankrupt and gone as a real company after 115 years.
But the name is still being used, mainly for mail-order bikes. (Like a mail-order bride?)

Very nice. :) Enjoy her!
Not bad! My BMC has the Shimano 105 compact and I have really learned to appreciate it. I would like to try your 29 mile route around Tiburon!
