2010 has been a great year for wildflowers.
As one variety goes dormant another pops up to replace it.
The little flowers are so delicate, yet they grow in the worst soil,
caleche and limestone rock.
Years past I have only seen a few.
This year they are everywhere.

Thanks for posting the photos of the wildflowers - a touch of grace - makes it worthwhile getting up in the morning and taking that walk!
And, David, you do need to take that vacation when your friend comes.
