A lot has happened in a week -- the mud room exterior is finished, new HVAC in and working, the new roof is on and plumbing and power are back. Of course, there have been wrinkles we're working on; some things you find by living in the middle of it.
Work continues to finalize plumbing, electric and carpentry, as well as guttering outside. We're checking and double-checking to be sure everything planned gets done.
Photos follow of where things are at today. I'll add basement photos later when I can get there. The sheetrocking contractors are working in the mud room today, and they don't need me tramping through the middle of their work.

| This view from the driveway shows the new roof and mudroom. The roofers have to return to haul away the refuse; it was too muddy yesterday. |

| Another view from the east |
 |
| And from the west. The carpenters worked very hard to match the new siding to the old. |
 |
| North side of the house -- you can see the new air conditioner and radon mitigation system. |
 |
| The northeast corner of the house |
 |
| The white unit and pipe running up the side of the house is the radon system. It's working, although we need to run another test once the house is finished. |

This weekend we'll take more pictures of the interior so you can see the basement, new systems, inside the mud room, etc.

What about the old basement stairs. Has that been filled in with floor joists?
