Some B&W Photos with the Voigtlander

So this is a Voigtlander Vitomatic I, which I got on Ebay several years ago.  The box says Voigtlander 1756 - 1956.  Voigtlander was an independent company for 200 years, but they sold the company to Zeiss in 1956.  The brand has been passed around since then and is now in the hands of Cosina which makes Leica-like rangefinders under the Voigtlander name.

These are some of the shots from the first roll I've sent thru it.  After sitting on a shelf for decades, it still works!  Love those Prontor shutters - not high-end, but bullet-proof!

No this was not taken with a 9x16 glass plate banquet camera 100 years ago.  Sixty year old camera, modern film, and the "Holga-like" filter in Picasa.  All of these pictures have been post-processed to greater or lesser degrees.

Glad you liked them Janet. On the flatiron, this is what I was quoting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Steichen_flatiron.jpg Mine was taken while we were waiting (and waiting) for Jonathan.

My favorites are the second, the Chelsea modernist building, and Waiting for the Hours.
