Another kid off to school! Daniel is now at U of I. Glad we took him on Thurs. I can't imagine what kind of zoo it will be Saturday. It was hectic enough yesterday. Plus he really did need a
few days to settle in. He was a bit uncertain and unsettled when we left him yesterday evening,
but has called several times today as he was getting his computer set up and buying books. He has run into a number of kids he knows from elsewhere . . . . just by chance. One is a girl from our synagogue in Omaha - he knew that she was coming to Iowa - and the other was with him on the Iowa Ambassadors of Music trip.
So I think he'll be ready for class on Monday and by the end of next week will be feeling like an old hand!
He promises to log on and send you links to his e-mail address on campus.
the trip back last night was the single longest drive across Iowa EVer. About 12:30 P.M. when
we got in so I am worthless today. Jan

What? No pics of leaving the baby on the doorstep of the dorm?
I heaved my sigh tonight as Curt and Ike took off. Packing was easier this year 'cause Ike knew what to expect; but he didn't start any earlier.
I'll be glad to hear when work and classes start.
