Images from the Bloomington show

OK, since Ike referenced the show and his mohawk, I'm posting some photos. Not the greatest between the lighting, my camera and no Photoshop to edit with. But, you'll get the idea.

We hung my needlework pieces alternately between Curt's wall pieces. Most of his work was on tabletops down the center of the gallery. You can see we also had several hanging pieces to mount also.

Crappy shot of the band, I know. That's Curt's brother-in-law George on the Congos. Ike's to the left of him. The curly-headed guy left of Ike is Peter Adriel, who's an original. Check him out on My Space. We'll be hearing more from him. Can't see Jake Van Horn, who played bass and was to the right of George, in this picture. Anyway, Ike really enjoyed playing with them, and Curt really enjoyed answering people's inquiries about the young guy on guitar!

This is Ike with some friends from Springfield. From left to right: Ike, his best friend Alex Jacob, Alex's friend Nick, and Lauren Schemerhorn, one grade ahead of Ike and Alex and the only girl in the classroom back then.

He forgot to mention that not only these guys showed up, but two of his Montessori teachers came to the show. He spent the whole first half of the show talking with everyone.

We all had a great evening. Curt and I sold some work, made some good connections and enjoyed begin artists again. The space was great; so we'd like to do it again next year.
